The Solid Difference Team

Helge Baurecker

As a lifelong product manager Helge Baurecker enables Solid Difference to make the difference between a pile of hardware and a product. He leads our marketing efforts and helps the collective with all tasks that fall inbetween the capabilities of the engineers of the team, including cooking & logistics. He lives in Berne and has two grown up sons and two cats.

Jeremy Seitz

No electronics problem is too big for our Head of PCBs. As a experience engineer of all traits Jeremy designs our PCBs and tinkers the rest of the electronics at Solid Difference. As for all the engineers in the collective, he is an alrounder. His infite observations and almost infite collection of old hardware are the source of inspiration at Solid Difference. He lives in Lucerne with his wife and daugehter and proud owner of Pixel and Mizi - his two cats.

Thomas Gresch

Thomas is the collective’s CAD-wizard that deisgns and prototypes the hardware of Solid Difference on his CNC, 3D printer or whatever other tool he finds laying around in his workshop. He obsesses about the design of our products until we are ready for production - which can take several years from idea to completion. But as it comes with the Solid Difference Collective ruthless hiring process, also Thomas is able to support on the other arts of engineering. He lives close to Zürich with his wife, 3 kids, Schrödinger and Midna - the 2 family cats.

Yannick Suter

Yannick is the Code-Gandalf of the Solid Difference collective. Super clean, fast and thought-through code results, when he tackles our rendering pipelines. It’s like watching somebody solving a rubicks cube. With eyes closed. And one hand. While swimming. Besides being responsible for the bits, Yannick completes the engineering department with all his other engineering magick. Yannick lives next to Aarau with his wife and 2 kids, while he is being molested by the largest cats of the crowd, Parsi and Mina.

Nore Ply

Nore is a exemplary employee and as a matter of fact the first real employee of Solid Difference. He picks up everything that falls between the cracks at the Solid Difference collective. If he’s around. Which mostly he’s not. In case you want to contact him, the best way is to write him an email to noreply@soliddifference.com. We don’t know where he lives. And we don’t know how he stands to cats. Nore usually gets awarded to be the employee of the month.
