Siebenuhr Small picks up a new approach to the seven-segment clock, where the digits have a distinct shape.
It serves as a clock, a lamp and an art-piece - all at once.
Every minute of the days is displayed in it’s unique colors with the fresh day starting in a dark blue, moving to red in the early morning hours and anding the evening on green.
Manufactured by hand in Switzerland, the Siebenuhr becomes a functional and yet beautiful object for many homes or offices.
Siebenuhr Mini and Siebenuhr Supersize both have NTP support via the built-in Wi-Fi.
It also has full Home Assistant support for controlling the clock. Home Assitant is a open source home automation system that is widly used within the Solid Difference Collective.
Through Home Assistant allows setting of three different modes (not possible through the physical button on the controller):
Color-wheel (default): The Siebenuhr rotaes through all the colors once a day. midnight is blue, morning is red, evening is green….
Solid color: You chose one color that reamins set (only avaliable through home assistant integration)
Random color: Every minute the Siebenuhr choses a random colors and crossfades in 500ms to it at the end of the minute.
Through the physical controller and the Home Assistant integration, the brightness of the Siebenuhr can be adjusted and the brightness setting is restored after a power outage.
The Home Assitant Intergration also allows 4 letter notifications to be sent to the Siebenuhr. The notification will be displayed during 5 seconds in blue color and the clock automatically switches back to the clock mode after that.
Controller Box
Every Siebenuhr comes with it’s own controller, which is a small box with a knob to controller brightness or to set the clock manually, in case you don’t have Wi-Fi available. The controller box is powered by a small USB Power Supply. The controller also has the Wi-Fi built-in.

Siebenuhr Mini is currently undergoing a major version upgrade, that will improve the clock’s case- and light-quality. We expect to be able to ship the first (new) version by May 1st 2024.
